Our S.S. Minnow Adventure...
We cruised out to the edge of the Great Barrier Reef for a snorkelling adventure when we were in Cairns in December 2004 (sigh...it seems so long ago now!). On the way we were fortunate to watch this storm come in:

Storms there tend to have this habit of creeping up on you without a lot of warning. It must have been thrilling too!

Alana: we found it thrilling at first...but were pretty relieved to be on dry land again! It certainly did creep up quickly - the sky was completely clear when we left in the morning.
