Akiba girls...

We went to Akihabara AKA Akiba yesterday to buy a replacement for my defunct printer and I couldn't resist coming over all otaku (manga geek) and snapping some shots,

I'm not sure whether to comment on the rosebud eye or towering platforms?!

We had lunch in Doutor - "a concept of casual and stylish" coffee shop and spotted the following girl with her manager:

What is it with the white boots ?!

B: if they do, we need pictures!

Anon: I'm with you, though I like pink and sometimes like limited frills I'm not keen on these particular combos!

C: well there weren't any sheep; but there were plenty of otaku taking snaps on their keitais!

Are keitais cameras????? These chicks don't look real.

Anon: good guess but not quite right...Keitais are cell phones - almost all cell phones in Japan have a camera function too!

The girls aren't supposed to look real, they are dressed up like anime characters to fulfil the fantasies of the otaku visiting Akiba
