Would the Real Japan Please Stand Up...

When you say "Japan" most people immediately think of

Kimonos

and shrines
...but the reality is not so pretty

it's train lines, advertising and power lines

and people on bikes waiting for trains to pass.

However, both versions of Japan are equally fascinating!

Those kimonos are just gorgeous, you are so lucky to be living there!

My high school had lots of Japanese exchange students too...I remember thinking their uniforms were really girly and they wore a lot of badges! Never imagined I would end up living here though :)

Seriously liz, who could not fall in love with tacos?!

Even in the "real" shots Japan still looks exotic to me.
